What happens if I don't have coverage?

Some patients do pay out-of-pocket for acupuncture. Acupuncture fees paid directly by a patient are tax free and qualify as a medical expense for income tax purposes. 

We provide only the therapy you need, and we will empower you to supplement your in-clinic care with a self-managed home care program. We accept most major credit cards, debit, and cash. 

Insured or not, we will work to help make your therapy accessible and affordable.

Generally, acupuncture DOES NOT hurt. The insertion of fine needles (about the diameter of human hair) may bring a slight tingling feeling as the needle reaches its point, but for most patients, they don’t feel discomfort at all. 

Do the needles hurt?

Some people feel immediate relief after one treatment but in most cases, more sessions are required. The number of sessions depends on your specific condition. If you have been enduring the pain for a long time, you may be required longer course of treatment for effective and lasting pain relief.

How many treatments do I need?

Completely! Acupuncture has been an FDA-approved type of treatment since 1996 and only licensed clinicians are allowed to perform the practice. Acupuncture has been a system of medicine for more than 2500 and by far, its efficacy and safeness are proven through the years.
